Dr. Bendor-Samuel - Travelling Surgeon/Teacher
Dr. Bendor-Samuel has just returned from several speaking engagements in the Middle East and Hawaii. The Kuwait Plastic Surgery Society invited him to speak as a keynote lecturer at their Annual World of Beauty Conference held this past January. The topics he that he was asked to present were; lower eyelid blepharoplasty, facelifting and the complicated breast augmentation. He also presented a technical video of his lower eyelid surgery which lowers the risk of complications following eyelid procedures. It was a well attended meeting with faculty and guests from around the globe. Shortly after returning from Kuwait he presented a paper at the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons Meeting in Kaua'i on his Four Step Lower Lid Blepharoplasty. This technique has allowed him to reduce many of the inherent risks of lower eyelid surgery making it a safer procedure. Operating on the eyelids is often the first cosmetic surgery patients choose to undergo. The eyes are the first thing that people respond to in conversation. When people have tired looking eyes they are often judged or perceived incorrectly by others. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty is a way to reduce bags under the eyelids and tighten skin giving a more youthful appearance. It is a procedure offered and frequently performed at the Landings Surgical Centre.
